European insurance provider and which was first established over 170
years ago. What is now
MMA Insurance Plc was originally established in the
UK
in 1958 under the name Norman Insurance.
MMA insurance is a subsidiary of MMA France which is part of
the MMA Group. Other
UK
subsidiaries of MMA include Swinton Insurance.
MMA have made it their policy to only offer their products
and services through a nationwide team of intermediaries.
Their policies offer a great
deal of protection for different types of customers and they also
offer reductions on premiums for second cars or owners with a good
accident history. In
addition to their insurance for private vehicles they also offer
insurance for commercial vehicles.
Like all good insurers, MMA
offer a 24 hour claims line and their quality repairs service helped
them to win awards in the past. In 2004 their excellent partnerships
with repairers was a leading factor in their being named Insurance
Company of the Year by Bodyshop Magazine.
